There is little learning going on in 're-education camps'

The “re-education camps” or “vocational training centers” are useless as sites for teaching people skills. First of all because people who already have skills are put in there as well.¹

Secondly, except for learning Chinese characters and state brain washing (Xi Jinping thought), most detainees don’t learn anything.²
