维吾尔族党员干部必须是彻底的无神论者。目前，在维吾尔族党员干部中，还不同程度地存在理想信念不坚定，宗旨意识淡化，党员意识淡薄等问题，有的不信马列信宗教，不信科学信迷信，成为一些错误思潮的俘虏，有的对家人、亲友和身边工作人员在大是大非问题上的模糊观念，错误言行不教育、不说服、不纠正；有的对“三股势力”打着宗教外衣搞分裂破坏、暴力恐怖活动等缺乏最基本的政治鉴别力，把宗教极端主义等同于宗教问题，甚至有的纵容“三股势力”、口是心非、阳奉阴违是典型的两面人。
